Picked up a AX30D!



I think it's a real good looking top especially for the sub $300.00 I gave for it! Music 123 had it listed as a used level 4 so I wasn't expecting much but when they sent pix I snatched it up. Out of the box there was some fret sprout, and that was part of the condition assessment, but it's recovering nicely. They also called it "all scratched up". I have no idea what they were talking about. it looks like new with a couple of really light swirls from buffing.

Sounds good but needs a set up. I haven't reached the point where I can maintain my gear (or play worth a damn, lol). I'm still learning...

I thought it was a good deal too. Initially I had been thinking about getting another AX3; the new yellow one. But, for like $15.00 more I went this route instead.

The AX30D doesn't get enough credit! I have one (just AX30, not the D variety) and its a super fun guitar to play. I actually prefer it to my AX40 because of the bridge but they both play great.

The Cherry Red Burst is a killer finish and that big quilt looks pretty sick. More photos please?

That's how I felt about the whole thing. If the guitar was a basket case I was going to swap what I could into my AX3 and sell off or Frankenstein the rest. No need, seems I got the bonus.

I'm still stoked about it!!!
