A Stingray 5 or a Stingray Classic 5 ?

Hello Folks,

Well I don't know where my first post went. I edited it and it has disappeared.
Was that because I put a link to a picture of my bass in question?
Anyhow any info on Serial Number :: B055237 would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi! I have a EB Music Man SR4 that I bought in the late -90's.
It's a Black body with a maple/rosewood neck and 3EQ.
Serial number is 33656.
I'd like to know the DOB and Dealer if possible.
Thanks.

Hi, I recently picked up a red (I believe it's candy red) Stingray 4, E07537. Could you also give info on woods, besides the DOB? Actually, every piece of info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
P.S. This bass is amazing.

April 2nd, 1999... standard Alnico Stingray 4 pickup, body should be ash, neck is maple with rosewood fretboard, shipped to Guitar Center

Hello Folks,

So I am curious about Serial Number :: B055237

It's a 5 string in Off White with a Maple neck in Birdseye.
Egg pick guard in tortoise shell red. One pickup.
Serial number and "Music Man" on the bridge.
Is it a Classic SR5 or just an SR5? The Birdseye and the
"B" in the serial makes me think it is a Classic but it's
case reads Stingray 5.? Thanks folks...
---

EDIT -
Ok well the seller and I have hammered out what we believe to be correct. He wasn't the original owner. It is a Classic 5 from sometime between 2005 and 2010. It's heavy, 9.5 lbs., so the body must be Ash and the neck radius is 7.5". That with the neck being Birdseye sets us strait I think.

This is my first StingRay so pardon my ignorance. I have always wanted one. Been a true blue Fender guy for the most part. Now I just need to contact support and find out if I can get the foam pads for the bridge north of the barrels and find out exactly what the "thumb screws" on the bridge do. Hey, I said, pardon my ignorance. I am very surprised that Music Man doesn't have "Manuals" for their basses. Yes I have read through the FAQ on the site but I think that most of that could be summed up in one PDF file as a Manual. And going to the "Store" link all I see to buy is one bass. Odd. What if a guy needs a bridge? Or the foam pads? Perhaps I don't need the foam pads, I don't know. In regards to the great reputation and following that Music Man has, I think their web site should fit the bill.

Regardless I would still like to know the DOB. And thanks folks. Anyhow... a picture ::
Oh well I guess I can't put a full size picture here. So here is the URL ::

Your bass is a classic. Completed May 17th, 2010. Many of our parts are proprietary, which is why we don't advertise them for sale to just anyone on a website. If you need any replacement parts, mute pads, etc, feel free to call us toll free @ 866-823-2255 or you can email [email protected] or even email me directly at [email protected]. The thumb screws on your bridge raise and lower the mute pads.

EBMM Sterling trans red Birdseye maple. Serial D07160. Date of make please?
