Hey Mario, I'm so happy that you're happy.

It is so true that Mario responded immediately that yes, he would do the trade. A literal split second.

The rosewood shipped out today, so stay tuned...

Excellent.

Yup. Getting plenty of harmonics on mine. :) The roasted necks have a little more punch, too. So you're trading that for a somewhat smoother tone. My comparison is not a 100% accurate though since I'm comparing an HSS roasted with an HH RW and the pups are lower on the HH, contributing to the punch-factor (or whatever you wanna call it :D ). Keeping fingers crossed that all goes well!

Thank you - I'm happy to hear you are having no trouble with the harmonics on your neck. I'm really looking forward to my neck's arrival next week. I'll keep you posted.

Ha! This is cool.

I agree - I'm so happy that Mario wanted to swap with me.

Oh, yes...my rosewood neck has arrived safely and it is beautiful. I attached it to the emerald green body, and they are a stunning combination. I'm about to put the strings on (Super Slinky 9s), but I just felt like making a quick post first. The rosewood neck feels so different than everything else. It almost has an oily feel, but in a very good way, not in a drippy motor oil way. I really like it. I am very happy that we did this.

Thank you, Mario!

The neck fit like a glove and I am very, very happy with the results. I usually roll back the treble from the the max position to almost half way. All I had to do with the rosewood neck was add a little more treble, and I was back to my normal tone. I love the rosewood neck - it feels so, so good.
