42. I Work for an Asian airline flying "rubber dogs..t out of Hong Kong" (for anyone who's seen Top Gun).
I get to go to a lot of places which gives me access, with no shipping costs, to buying new balls, which is good as my wife won't give the old ones back.

Hmmm, Cathay Pacific? I fly 737's for the largest 73' operator in the country. We have more aviators on the forum than I thought. I wish I could quit & be a full time musician......

At 61 I'm still one of, if not the, oldest fart(s) here. I'm still selling GR Utah watermelons on the side of the road in the 4 corners area, but I have now added Navajo trinkets.

53 years old. After a 25 year career, I retired earlier this year as a Lieutenant with Orlando Fire Dept.

I've been playing guitar since my 15th birthday, and have been playing for a part time job since shortly thereafter. My degree is in Music Ed., but I wound up in the fire service through a series of seemingly random coincidences and serendipity. I've made enough to claim my music income on my taxes for about ten years, but can now finally call myself truly a full time musician.

Southwest? Heard its a great place to work.
I'm in a good place with work. Got the left seat a year ago on a 777 and loving it. Im gigging about twice a month and the "hacker" music scene in HK is really good. Would like to be able to play more but wife and three kids can be a show stopper at times.

I'm 36 and I work as a corporate geologist. I have a PhD in geology, and my kids say I'm a rock doctor, thus the name.

Age 49 and founded/own a couple companies...

One is in the exciting world of accounting software. Small outfit of only 10 people, but we support hundreds of mid-tier companies (coast-to-coast and Canada-to-Mexico) and it's easy to make money in the business software world if you do it right. :)

The other is commercial real estate - roll profit from the software company into owning office buildings (appreciating assets, solid income stream).

Have always said that I would retire at age 50, but since I have three kids in college right now and my youngest is only 2 1/2 think I'll be hitched to the plow for a while longer...

I'm 44 years old and a systems engineer for a company that develops radar and EW systems. I love my job and and it allows for me to have all my wonderful EBMM guitars! Would love to be a full-time musician one day!

I'm 19. I'm currently a janitor for a school system, until I get my degree and become a music teacher for a school system.

50 years old.....25 years in LTL transportation. I am burnt completely out and hopefully will start a new career within a year. Life lesson.....especially for my 3 small children, finish college so you will have the advantage to do what YOU want for a living. Regardless of the income it might bring, life will be so much sweeter. Mine was to be a school teacher, but got side tracked and didn't finish college. I am grateful and blessed to have what I have, but it certainly wasn't my choice or desire.
