I say YES. It's still chambered... no I'm not going to add any other chambers... plus I'm going to keep those coil taps with this :

Eventually, I was planning on filling the holes and finishing those spots... not sure where I'll get the paint... The tone pot is just a drop in replacement, no drilling there.

But for now...

Still need to wire it up, but Here it is. It's not quite on center as I was trying to accommodate the key in the top washer, but it's close enough and I'll be filling in the holes anyway. Besides, Can't tell from a distance with the black....

Just curious as to why you wanted to change to the toggle. Didn't like the blade? Bored? haha. Looks good though.

I agree with Beej that you probably should have filled first... but might be worth just filling with a dark color and calling it good if you don't want to refinish the entire guitar?

As we used to say, a man on a galloping horse couldn't tell the different then! :)

Not fond of the blade, no. I can refill it just as easily later. I need to remove the switch as it's not quite ready to wire up... I'll fill it and file it today.

I would have had a pro do a mod like that, at least on a guitar of that value, but then again they are just tools and not everyone is a collector, i play the **** out of all my guitars!

Perhaps you can find a shade of nail polish similar to that purple color for the touch up?

Yes, I'm starting to think it's a law of nature - for every guitar colour there is a matching nail varnish, somewhere. I found one that matches my buttercream Silo Special. Why anybody would paint their nails that colour, I can't tell you.

I've heard that EBMM draws inspiration for many guitar colors from the automotive world - what if they've been fooling us all this time and they're really based off fingernail polish?

:D

If that was the case, they ought to release a "EBMM finish fixing kit"-rebranded version of said fingernail polish :D
