New guy here. Been playing for about 3 years so I'm not too good of a player but I love to play. Also a big Dream Theater/JP fan and one day I'll own a MM Majesty. But for now I must remain happy with a Sterling JP70 which is a great guitar in its own right. From its tone to overall craftsmanship, it's hard to believe it's not USA-made and doesn't carry a $1000+ price tag.

And of course I'm not going to wait for you guys to ask for pics so here she is.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! She was the last lady hanging from the wall and that color is what made her stand out. Always wanted a 7 string and for the price that guitar seemed perfect. The setup and playability is awesome and even the factory pickups sound great but a set of crunch/liquid is definitely in my wish list.

Welcome 1neeto. Scooped forearms ftw! I have a JP70D myself and gotta agree that this is one hell of a fine instrument! Enjoy.

Yeah really love that feature. The only thing that took a me a while to get used to other than the extra string, is the location of the pickup selector switch. I tend to hit it sometimes when I'm playing.

And I recorded this about a week after I bought it. Nothing too fancy just some low B power chord chugging. :)
