All models with the exception of a Floyd-equipped model have locking tuners so it's not necessarily a new JP model.

I would assume it's an absolutely brand-new model to help kick off this new lablel. :D

Surprising to me that nobody saw THIS that was posted to EBMM's Facebook page with the caption: "From the vault: A Secret Weapon."

Related to the new crafted stamp? Is this a prototype for one of the new models?!?

Something tells me the world is about to tilt on its Axis (pun intended).

I've seen that one in one of the Premier Guitar Videos on Youtube. I wonder what the Story is on that

Looks like a Gene Baker B3 prototype to me!!!

I'd be dead interested to see what MM would offer on this basis!

I think around the time I joined this forum (which was a long time ago!) there was some talk about EBMM and Baker Guitars getting together in some capacity. Maybe this guitar dates back to that era.

I'm thinking it's just an update to reflect the craftsmanship that goes into these guitars.
"made" doesn't really do them justice does it ! ;)

Crafted :

1.
an art, trade, or occupation requiring special skill, especially manual skill.

BING BING BING Dizzy is spot on.

We are working very hard at telling our story better....in exec talk it is a re-brand. I did that logo with Mark and Dustin in marketing....I had to show them the old goat Poppa isnt done.

We need people to understand who we are, what we do, where we do it, and how we do it. We are unique and have spent very little time explaining ourself which may have something to due with our lack of recognition.

and yes they are new models....one new one...ok two....ok three a bold and daring sig model that you guys will hate initially and love in the end...oh yeah and another one in the jan pipeline....

I haven't teased in awhile...have I lost my touch?

That set neck was way before Gene Baker It was a project between Dan Norton, Dudley and myself for a very successful man who wanted to have us build guitars for him....We decided not to....it was code named the secret weapon

Hmm... I hope you guys don't get any backlash for changing "made" to "crafted". More than one company got hit on their "crafted in USA" bologna, and Id hate for you guys to be associated with that.

That said, 1-3 artists eh?

I predict
- Travis Larson (Seems the most prolific and "unique" choice)
- gretchen menn (Would make sense based on BP's posts of contradictions. She's been playing EBMM's forever too)
- and a bass model?
