Congrats on your 4,000 post Kev! You are one wicked smart cookie, as it took an 'Irishman living in Paris' to remind or let those who didn't know (myself included) that the bear and star are on the state flag of California lol. I also thought that was a great concept to try to let a forumite name one of the new models. I'll run with it farther, if someone does- they get that model on the house lol. I remember when Fender Japan switched from MIJ to CIJ which had to do with Fugi-Gen having sole production and if anyone else came in to help with the guitars it was to be changed to CIJ which I just don't see happening here.

The intriguing one is Sterling playing like The Riddler lol "Riddle me this riddle me that"= A sig model we will initially hate but end up loving? Outside of their top shelf quality and killer tops and necks I always found EBMM's other top niche to be making a slew of fresh designs which is arguably the hardest thing for a company to do. Hell! Fender and Gibson haven't had a fresh design that was a big hit in 50-60 years, everything is based off of the legendary designs and simply tweaked. I am wondering if it is a totally new sig artist or something for one of the 4 virtuosos? Personally for me if it is for one of the big 4 (he is one of the greatest technical players who ever lived, a hell of a good guy and hands down the cash cow of sig guitars, but I hope it is not another JP model at this time, as he broke the record at least 3 years ago lol. I still can't figure out "We will hate it at first but end up loving it?

Personally, one feature I'd love to see on the new guitars is more of a carved/contoured top similar to the Majesty and Armada. IMO, a carved or contoured top looks more classy and high-end compared to the slab-type designs. Even just some bevels around the perimeter help in that regard. Just my two cents.... :)

Really love the bear on the headstock. Of course being a native Californian, I am very familiar with our stage flag. I think it's awesome- way to represent our state!

Yup! Cobalts, Armada, Majesty, M-Steels. EBMM are the new "movers and shakers" on the guitar scene.

I love the Cali Bear stamp. Hopefully the next EBMM I order has one along with a nice roasted maple neck! (BFR L3 or JP15)

An 8-string JP or JP BFR would be so awesome :D

Well I was thinking just that! An 8-string model. I do recall JP commenting on that, I think he said something like they were working/considering an 8-string. I would definitely go for that one!!!

Count me in amongst those who would like to see an 8-string...don't think it'll happen, but it would be awesome. If this were happening, it means JP is/would be using one in the studio for the newest album.

8 string 8 string 8 string! I hope the new artist signature is a Jakub Zytecki model. That would blow everyone and everything away!

Whatever happens, they're sure to be very cool.

"Different demographics" ?...... is that a polite way of saying "Left Handers" ? :D
