I thought I'd give a crack at extracting whatever I could out of this image. So. Many. Questions.

Hmmmm...looks like some pretty solid evidence so far, Devin. Strong work.

My only question for you is: Did you draw the Petrucci evolution sketch?

no its not 8 string and it's different demographics thats why you shredders wont like anything we are doing....but remember we arent taking anything away from you.....if you don t try to keep up you go broke.

Non shredder?
Hopefully something with a big fat neck....

Thanks for clarification, BP. Many fellow EBMM knuckleheads (as me) would not except less on a real Music Man guitar.

So. "Not for shredders", no extended scales... yet he chose his words "its not an 8 string" when confronted with "is it a 7 or 8 string?". 7 string seems to be feasible here.

Since "not for shredders", we can get rid of jakub zytecki (love that dude!), Travis larson still in the mix, as he's more smooth and melodic prog over the "shredder type". More Andy timmons/steve morse than steve vai imo.

Yeah, 6 string Larson model. Lets call it the 2016 EBMM SL1. H/H with piezo, 2 point standard tremolo, and a midi pickup somewhere...

Yeah sounds good :)
