Brent Mason - isn't he mostly studio artist?
He's had at least two sig model guitars, a current one with PRS and a prior model with Valley Arts (Gibson). He also has a signature Wampler pedal. He would be a bad artist for a signature guitar, IMO, because nothing stops him from playing his old primer-gray tele.

Not being Paisley makes me a little sad, since I get excited whenever I see him holding his custom paisley Axis Sport/tele with g-bender. That's one of the coolest guitars I've ever seen.

Anyone mention Johnny Hiland yet? I know that BP was glad to have him when he started playing a Silo, and I assume that he also wanted to see if he'd stay for a while...so maybe the time has come to reward Johnny with a Hiland Signature EBMM guitar. Maybe it combines everything he loves about the tele with what he loves about the Silo, AL, and EBMM in general. Maybe a new body shape, but it'll have 24 frets, be ash, have some form of the ashtray bridge, and three pickups. Sort of a cross between an AL, Silo, and tele. From what I've read and heard from him over the years, that combination done in the right way would be his dream guitar. I've wanted EBMM to do a real tele-killer for a while, and this might just be the perfect time and artist to make that happen!

Edit: I was just reminded of Johnny's 2 Axis Sports. So, maybe not a new body shape, but more based on the Axis contours. Seeing two of the baddest country pickers playing EBMM Axis Sport guitars definitely tells me something. I am stoked to find out the truth of EBMM's next guitar innovations!

one alternative one country

TWO new signatures models? AWESOME! I'm trying to figure out what "alternative" means in today's musical landscape, LOL.

A new Robert Smith (from The Cure) model? :D

One is country, eh? Hmmmm.....wonder if it's Tele-style...if so, how different will it be from the Albert Lee model? Hmmmm.....

To me, the AL is an all-out strat-killer. I know there's a baseplate under the bridge pickup, but there's still a lot of uncharted tele territory left for EBMM to conquer.

Did Trev Lukather already got mentioned?
He's already got his Custom Guitar. Maybe it's becoming a Production Sig Model

Yes, not sure if all the time, but I saw it myself on a concert video and read about it on a non-music website from her fans. It was a white headstock AL HH that made me notice it and then go back and examine a dark headstock to find the same, then the previously mentioned website. The EBMM logo, however, was unobstructed.

You guys are getting my hopes up - either/both of the recent suppositions (St. Vincent and Hiland) would be excellent choices! :)

She's covering HER signature on the headstock or Albert Lee's? All of the pictures I've seen of her with an Albert Lee, she has a capo attached to the headstock but I've never seen the tape. I'm curious. Got any pics? :D
