She's covering HER signature on the headstock or Albert Lee's? All of the pictures I've seen of her with an Albert Lee, she has a capo attached to the headstock but I've never seen the tape. I'm curious. Got any pics? :D

She's covering AL signature. Maybe I'm wrong. Here's one video, with dark and white guitars:

EDIT: It's tape or something else like tape with one purpose, which is to cover the Albert Lee signature. There's a capo as well, but not on the headstock.

Samoht,

Looks like it to me too - but why? Somebody explain to me if there's a historical war between her and one of the nicest guys (Al) that you'l. ever meet?!

Or is this some kind of artistic statement that a non-alternative music person like me wouldn't understand?

I think this is it, since I don't like or understand her music; no offense to her or her fans. I can't think of a good reason that makes sense to me with my limited musical preferences (no alternative, no rap, and no genre with "core" or "death" in the name).

If she does indeed get an EBMM signature model, I bet it'll be interesting, and unique. Maybe a set full rosewood neck, small body, new avant garde shape, dual humbucker, and new to EBMM scale length. :) I love to speculate about this stuff.

I think it might be that she has the tape there is because she puts the capo in the same place and might not want to damage the headstock. Too obvious?

Maybe you're right. I feel better about that as a reason, so yes, that's the answer. :)

And I hadn't thought about neck-thru, but that's definitely a possibility for a new guitar. How about a Hiland neck-thru Axis Sport with Tele bridge?

EDIT: We must be onto something. Hiland and Vincent haven't been shot down by BP. :)

hahahahahahahahhaa you guys have fertile imaginations......

"Able to conceive" ideas. Notice that BP isn't saying "no". Can't wait to find out the real deal here. Speculation is fun, but like GoKart Mozart, I'm hoping for a tele-killer.
