Thanks guys. The top is really beautiful in person.

Welcome to the forum. I look forward to seeing your Luke when it arrives. That's a pretty nice first ebmm.
You will be pleased with the build quality and the attention to detail. Plays like buttah right out of the box.

Having an understanding wife sure does help. I'm glad that mine found out about my Luke so I can play it when she's around.
I was going to tell her eventually. Honest. ;)[/QYore

Occasionally my wife will notice something she hasn't seen before...she noticed my Kemper Amp recently (I think because of all of the flashing lights on the front of it)...she's quite sharp and usually knows when I keep cash out when depositing checks ha ha ha....I have wanted a Luke for a number of years but wasn't sure about the EMGs so the change in pickups made the difference

Wow, that one looks amazing! Congratulations! Today I had to tell my wife that another Majesty was bought and I thought about hiding it but it seems to be accepted :) uff
It seems that women work the same way as we do concerning toys, but they probably don't tell it.

Congrats...yes, having an understanding wife is the key. We are a couple of the lucky guys.

Thanks, John. I'm really enjoying it. It came strung with the RPS strings so I will restring it this weekend with the super slinkys.

My wife doesn't know that I own any guitars.:D:D:D:D

I just tried to sneak this past my wife, but she immediately realized that it was something new. I traded in my Albert Lee toward it which I quickly mentioned to her. She walked right up to it and read the cursive writing on the amp aloud. She knows brands now...she knows brands.

Your still sleeping indoors so that's a major victory Bryan! I want to sneak a BFR L3 or a JP15 in for my 40th next year. I'm still trying to figure out how you pull that one off.

Holy flamed maple Batman! That's quite a bit of awesome wood in that picture. Now you need to install new hardwood flooring so it all matches. :D

Do what I did. Go buy a BFR L3 and walk right through the front door and into the basement with it. My wife came down, saw me playing it and never even noticed it was a new guitar. It took about two weeks before she realized it (the bill came in). Doh!

I picked up my Al used and the fretboard edges had been rolled, which I was not aware of. My low E string was occasionally falling off the board. I can't live with that. I can always find another Al HH, and I will pick one up someday, but I got this amp head for quite a good price. It's reverse engineered from Eric Johnson's '68 Plexi. I'm happy with what I've done.

No problem; I can handle the flak, but I wanted to justify the trade-in by explaining that the altered neck was driving me crazy. I'll get another Al HH one day, probably when a PDN run comes up that I like. I'm still wishing for a Sparkle Select run in Pink.

whoa.... I vote for trans sparkle pink burst (small sparkles...) with a maple neck. Oh Hell Yes!!
I would sell some stuff to get one of those!

*I love my AL HH, but sometimes I just wish it had a bit more snap and bite to it....
