It was very difficult to decide between the 13 and the Majesty. Both beautiful: both incredible tools.
But after another test in which I focused only on the necks, i found 13 neck more comfortable for my hands.
Maybe it's rosewood, that i love, maybe it's the fact that i feel the 13 neck skinnier and narrower. Maybe it's the shape.

And let me say that no photo does justice to the beauty of the Platinum Silver finish.:):):):)

OP, I know you're pain. But...

I still have the 13. So I think you made the right decision :)

And you're right - the rosewood on the fretboards is simply delicious:

I mean, I'm selling it, but only because I have the 15 which I like a TEENSY bit more. But I'm playing the hell out of it until I sell it :)

Good choice, the 13 is probably my favorite sounding JP, although I haven't tried the 15 or 16 yet. The illuminators sound really really good in it too.

If i am correct, the illuminators were originally designed around the 13. it's a relly aggressive Guitar, however, but capable of sweet and mild tones. And i love the platinum finish every day more and more

I found it to be the most balanced of the JP models. The JPX sounds much more aggressive which is why I love it for metal stuff.

Love the Jpx! the chambered body adds something "airy" to the tone. I have the opportunity to play it for one hour two days ago: incredibile lead sound...
At this point i would add another JP to my collection

My #1... It has every feature I've always wanted. Boost, split center, fast action, piezo, compensated nut, NO 12th fret badge, best bridge ever, illuminator pickups are my current fav. Great stage color; takes on whatever the lights want. Stays in tune like a ROCK. Sounds good in just about every amp you plug in.

Just an incredible combination. Seeing as I'm not a flame/quilt guy...I like sparkle finishes. This is like a lite sparkle..

I totally agree danny: for sure I chose the 13 for the neck and not the majesty. But I must confess that the aesthetics of this guitar was pure love at first sight. And yes, the action is superb :D Next month i will use it live: i'm so excited to play some 80's Gary Moore stuffs with this beast and a a JCM900... :D
