Actually I think it's the JP from what's been said here before.

Really The JP ??

Its a great guitar , but i would choose the Big AL over that thing anyday of the week ..
Feels more like an Ibanez neck than a music man if you ask me ..

I thought it was the Axis but it is no shock as the JP is the most discussed Ball on the web.Marty I understand where you are coming from but each guitar is designed to the artist specs and JP favors a thin neck but the feel is still that of a Ball neck, just a thin one. Personally I favor the neck on the Axis and AL which I would assume you probably prefer too, but their are different strokes for different folks.

I know their will never be a list given of models by sale, though everyone probably has their own idea.I know Sterling had said this was the best year ever for the AL which I contribute to the HH model which has taken that ax to a whole different place and audience. I had read the review on it in the latest Guitarist Magazine where they raved and said it was on par quality and sound wise with a boutique instrument. Funny thing was they gave it 4 1/2 stars out of 5, with the drawback being they they were not crazy for the one they tested having a black finish did it no justice.lol I thought green was the color people are supposedly not crazy for. Black?

BOnehead journalists....they can specify a color...they just had to whack us. In the latest guitar world the guy reviewed the Sterling by Music Man and dinged us on both of the reviews for excessive string tension. He even went as far as to saty that the fact that if we slanted the headstock it would reduce the string tension...absolute self appointed expert..and why I hate magazine reviews. I talked to the editor and said that scale lingth and string gauge is the same regardless of the headstock or guitar. they are printing a correction...the editor tried to say it was subjective I forwarded him scientific data and then he apologized.

It is the JP by a huge margin

I KNEW you guys were overcharging for JPs!:p

Just kidding...

I bet the JP is the best seller mainly because it's one of the first guitars on the market that was sort of like an oddball, yet secretly desired by many. I mean, think of the scoop, onboard piezo, and floating recessed non-locking trem. It's inspired many a "similar" designs on the market today.
