While on the billion note thing - anyone ever see this kid www.nicksterling.com . Met him at the Vigier booth and watched him perform in the Marriott Courtyard. This kid is waaaaay beyond his years in talent. And he's got heart, feel, presence - the whole package. All the girlies are even waiting for him to develop.

Circular driveway, more like a semi-circular driveway. Never did understand that one.

Joe I like your attitude, and your stage poses. As a fan of good stage performance over technical ability myself, I must say, I fully agree.

I am in total agreement with your sentiments, Senor Mono

AHHHHHHHHHH! The age old arguement.....

Most guys who can't play fast dont like people that can.......

most guys that can only play fast dont appreciate someone who speaks loudly in the pocket with beautiful efficiency.....

My take is speed is like cayenne pepper, some bassists with chops are brilliant, some are like clawing the chalkboard. I hear guys that play sparingly that couldn't find the pocket with a guide dog. ALso has a lot to do with the genre....

The real beauty is that well played bass whether fast or slow it is a wonderful thing when played correctly
I actually enjoy all the slap/pop/tap stuff and I suck at it........Come to think of it i'm not very good at playing slow either:confused:

Not really.

Well, maybe.

Do sheep count as livestock? :D

Well, for a select few, mostly east-Texas and beyond types, they are known as "dates" but for the rest of the world, yeah, they're livestock . . . . . :D :D :D :D
