I bought this off the 2nd owner as a package with my Mr. Horsepower. The story as I remember it goes like this...

The first owner, then a young EVH fan, was working for a fancy coffee delivery company that EVH ordered from. One day, he got the call to deliver to 5150 so he stopped home, grabbed this guitar, and brought it to the studio where EVH signed it. It was assumed that EVH's assistant called the company as the kid was on the way back to complain, and he was fired upon returning to the store. A few months later, jobless, he sold this guitar to the guy I purchased it from.
