Wow, I am floored by it's beauty, but at the same time it seems to intimidate...awesome job, awesome. First the Y2D and now this...

more questions!
. I am guessing that without the middle pickup, there won't be any quack??

if the middle position employees only the inside coil of each hummer.......it would have some quack........& could also still be designed to be hum canceling in that position....
don't know that's the case......but it is electrically possible.....

That's how the Petrucci is wired (and the ASSes). Not so much "quack" as a nice clear chime. IMHO, to really get good quack you need the pickups to be closer.

That sounded negative ... just wanted to say how much I love the look of this guitar! It's got the classic Silhouette styling, yet it's different in so many ways. Really great design!

The more I look at this guitar the more it impresses me. For a start EB is celebrating 20 years of the Silo at the same time a certain company is celebrating 60 years. Well after 20 years EBMM has taken steps forward with some interesting designs and building techniques. What has the other company done? Nothing, it looks exactly the same except it has a 60th anniversary decal on it. Guess I'm glad BP and the gang are looking to the future while the other company continues to look back.

Well said, Colin.

I agree.. this design just shows how far they've come in 20 years. And that they're still open to new ideas.

Here are the options:

Piezo, hardtail, tremolo, maple or rose board, matching or non-matching headstock, and upgrade flame or quilt top.

We decided at the show to offer it that way.
I'm ass-u-me-ing this is in reference to the tops. Sorry if I am not totally clear on this.

I wish you would resend this.
Here she is boys. The nicest we have to offer. Truly a limited edition model. Isn't she lovely? But if you want it nicer..........

Just seems weird to me

Norn didn't you order an upgrade top on your Y2D? Axis, Y2d< and 20th all have the option to get a "10" top and you can select whether you recieve flame or quilt.

Hey NorM, if it makes you feel any better I watched the UPS driver pick up your guitar and drop it twice before he even made it to the truck!

And just for the final knife twist, I just ordered 2 more 20th Anniversary Silhouettes which will be "nicer." That makes 5 up for grabs now, maybe another bash is in order for when these bad boys come in? :D
