According to some info I found online (and please correct me if I'm wrong, anyone), Ernie Ball bought Music Man on March 7, 1984. If that's correct, it means the 25th Anniversary of EBMM will be upon us, just a very little less than 1 year from now.

In my opinion, that warrants something very special. Maybe an EBMM 25th Anni LE ... an LE to beat all LE's. Or if not an LE, an EBMM 25th Anni something!!

Thoughts?

Well it's not quite yet, right ... but almost! Next year. I was basically just wondering if there's anything in the works for that very special event. If not, there's a whole year to plan for it, if the planning hasn't started already.

Of course the emphasis and cause for celebration is 25 years of quality, excellence and innovation. But I for one wouldn't mind seeing that celebration manifest in the form of a special LE to commemorate 25 great years of EBMM. :)

Speaking of which, is the Sterling coming up on any aniversaries? What year did it come out?

EDIT: Ah, the history page says 1991. I guess we'll have to wait until 2011 for that Aniversary model!
