This video is definetly worth downloading! ;)

PEte, you're living my dream. :D

The song is totaaaaaaaaaaally cool!!! I LOVE IT! It kicks some serious behind. You're one hell of a player, BTW!

Can you share some info on the gear (apart from the guitars and amps)? :) Like microphones, mixing boards, etc.? Did you use a computer to record to or what?

BTW Is this song insipired by "Suspended Animation" (as a complete album)? :D

Bass went direct, drums had 2 overhead condensers & kick/tom/tom/snare mics, and the guitars had a condenser & at least 1 SM57 but that's about all I noticed.

The song was written as a follow-up to this acoustic one that I wrote a few years ago:

I've had tons of ideas floating around for a while. It's just happenstance that I recorded the acoustic one in Jan '05, got the idea for this one in Feb '05, and Suspended Animation came out in March '05 :p

I like the blue dawn watch the best...and the story behind that goes something like...

Kbaim saw one exactly like it a couple years ago at Macy's for like $95 and bought it for himself since he owns a Blue Dawn Luke.

Norm sees the watch Jan '05 at a Steve Morse concert he and Kbaim go to in Calif. Norm begins looking high and low for one but can't find the exact watch. He's bummed as Norm owns a blue dawn silo.

Kbaim sees the same watch at Macy's in Dec '05 now discounted down to $60. And while he knows Norm ain't worth it, he gets it for him as a christmas gift anyway. Norm is floored, but for some reason (perhaps Keith is really an A-hole) stiffs Keith a gift. Nothing. (Perhaps Norm is really an a-hole...just speculating here)

Norm then alerts Pete to the watch after Norm sees one avaialble on line (ebay?), Pete snags the watch as Pete has begun collecting several EB's in Blue Dawn.

End story.

The HSS Albert was stock - Pete bought it from a former employee; it was a one-off.

Speaking of studio pix ... I was touching up a tune or two the other day and we grabbed a pic or two with my Axis and trusty Guytron.
