We decided to re-string the Albert Lee this morning, and take the opportunity to photograph a demonstration of the miraculous Wonder Wipes. I've posted this on the bass side, but due to the Albert content, thought you guys might enjoy it as well ;)

Ah hem - may I please welcome my beautiful assistant Trevor!

The newly de-strung AL ready for wipeage! (By the way, the whole locking tuner thing confused me until I realised how they worked - story for another thread) :D

What's all this obsession with cleaning??If you lose the filth you lose the mojo (same rule applies with fridges, cookers and baths as far as I'm concerned)

We feel like we owe it to the forumites who saved our guitars to keep them in as good a condition as possible :)

We took the pics and pulled the silly faces to try and raise a laugh - we wanted to try and raise a smile as over on the bass side particularly, I think some of the guys need it!

We completely get your point - but we don't gig at the moment, so there's no real opportunity to get mojo on them - only dust! :p

Don't worry about that, you can still add mojo to your guitars.

Merely rub them with Mojo Juice, an expertly blended mixture of human sweat, nicotine and beer available for $39.95 from your local Fender dealer.

Or Custom Shop Signature Mojo Juice which also contains sweat and skin cells donated by famous guitarists only$99.95

So, you used the fretboard conditioner on the back of the neck??? This is ok????

Yep - for maple, you have to wipe the excess off after a few minutes, as unlike rosewood, there's no pores (so someone from EB said - I forget who) - and they can be used on fretboard and neck - which is great as I was really concerned about finding a way to clean it!

The only no-no, according to the pack, is lacquered necks. Rosewood, ebony etc are all ok along with maple.

Plus they smell wicked :D

he he...just don't do any damage to yourself ;)

Hammers wise...we are loving the fact that only us and the top 4 have managed 6 wins in 8 this season...Woooo....The last two games have been wicked and Tevez is on the way to becoming the next Dicanio! Just hope the PL don't reverse their points decision!!!

Back to the thread tho...Wonder Wipes are cool...makes a real difference and kind of gives you that "New Guitar" feeling all over again :) well done EBMM
