I have tried mine this afternoon, its just a great product especially for rosewood fretboard
What's all this obsession with cleaning??If you lose the filth you lose the mojo (same rule applies with fridges, cookers and baths as far as I'm concerned)
Don't forget toilets![]()
Spot the single man!!
Hammers are damn lucky with that points decision - someone is looking after them!!![]()
sorry to hijack... bungo waht are you up to on monday 14th... my mates have a gig and they are amazing, the bassist plays the hell out of an sr5... free gig, starts early, u should come
Can anyone yet say from experience if the string cleaner noticeably prolongs the life of strings?
Bungo mate, WHERE in London are you? Trev's gonna come down and meet me at Holborn one day soon, so we could all meet up for drinkiesWe all owe each other pints, and hopefully after next weekened we'll have cause to celebrate!
(Currently 1-0 to Spurs...NEVER thought I'd say this, esp after 4-3, but GO SPURS! Wow what a weekend it's been... I was rooting for Arsenal yesterday - someone slap me!)![]()
Can't say whether they prolong the life of my strings cuz I change them after 15 - 20 hours of play regardless. I would change em more often but I'm too lazy to do it every week.
For real, that often?I guess I am way too lazy then.
Yeah, I was shocked when I realised, may even be less.
2-3 x gigs per week, average 1 hour 45 per gig.
Average practice at home mon-fri maybe 8 hours.
Maybe more like 20 - 25 hours. Its the gigs that kill em the most. Sweat, dead skin, smokey atmosphere, smoke machine, my beer spillage, the occasional bit of blood, all goes towards the strings getting knackered really quick. You wouldn't believe how much gunk the wipes remove and quickly.
If you gig the pubs n clubs, your guitar aint that much different than a pub table.
