Last month the Blues/Rock Trio I'm in played the local Latin Fest. I think they were under the impression that we played a couple Los Lonley Boys tunes. All in all it was a great time and the crowd was very nice to us. The other bands that played before and after us were (more)traditional Mexican bands. Got lots of very positive comments on the Bongo and the band.

Rock'n la vida loca-

Good for you! Cross-cultural pollination is a big part of my life!

Sometimes I only speak to the crowd in Spanish, then Brian sings a song completely in Russian. The concept, I suppose, is that if we can't impress them, we can at least confuse them.

Nice gig pics!

Things are really starting to pick up. Brad(vox/guitar) just got a deal with Budda amps and next year we are going to work on a new album with Eddie Kramer(worked with Led Zep, Hendrix, Beatles, Kiss)) as producer.

If you go to www.cdbaby.com/bradkelsey

You can check out some older clips from his first album. The new band(the drummer and I) had nothing to do with that album although we play a good handful of the tunes live. The new stuff's quite different. A lot more Rock'n but still very bluesy. Sorta like Gov't Mule or Joe Bonnamasa. We hope to start recording our live shows and I will share them with the forum when that starts to happen. Brad is much more mature as a guitarist AND a vocalist since he has last recorded and the new band just kills(if I'm allowed to say that).
