I've been fortunate to spend some serious time with the incredible new EBMM Majesty over the last week. It is quite the guitar.

Like I wasn't going to play some Dream Theater when I got my hands on the latest, greatest Petrucci model?? :D

I'll be doing a full demo of this killer instrument soon. Stay tuned...

That demonstrates that aspect of the guitar quite nicely. Well done.

The playing is almost as incredible as the smile that it put on your face. I can certainly tell that this instrument brings great joy; congrats!

The Maj definitely sounds and feels great, but man, I have no love for that body shape...

Very nice playing, BTW.

That's the Solo-A-Week guy... great guitar but I still feel that the Axe FX lacks something, the tone is similar but seems a little too digital to my ears.

I noticed there isn't much love for the aesthetics of the Majesty..Shame..Anyway your playing is worthy of the great man himself..good one

Great playing! As the others pointed out, it really seems that you enjoy playing it.

How much of a difference would you say there is between this and your JP6?

I don't know about the OP, but I played a JP6 and the Majesty back to back in the store and there was a tremendous difference in most respects.

It's not like playing a fender strat vs gibson les paul but there are differences, apart for the obvious shape, in the tones. You probably can't tell on a youtube video but the guitars sound different (not better or worse, just different) and the ergonomics on the Majesty can enhance your playing. My opinion so far is that the Majesty has more midrange and a clearer/tighter bottom end while the JP6 is more aggressive sounding (that guitar recorded train of thought, octavarium and six degrees).

Hey man - question.. I have a Majesty 7 and was wondering what you thought of the trem? When mine is inserted all the way in, it seems to be wobbly. Are you experiencing the same?

And holy sh!t man, smooth playing. I was jamming to that tune on my Kronos (I go that way too). The ebony fretboard is sweet, no? Are you getting wobbliness in your trem?
