Uggg... I am going through this right now. My Green Axis has chrome and I am thinking of going Gold. I just picked up a Peavey Wolfgang in Green with a black trem and debating going back to Chrome on it... Thankfully my Green Axis Sport has no option but to remain chrome. I think we change things to avoid buying a new guitar... it never works though. I voted Chrome because it is the classic choice that makes the most sense.
