Glenn's the type of guy that would want chrome on an all black stealth modelled guitar with an ebony fretboard.
There's black chrome too! I'm sure that would just mess Glenn up. Haha.

Fun aside, this wasn't an easy poll. All options could work. Gold would be my least favourite as I don't like the gold colour and hardware wise, it can have issues with the finish.
I voted chrome (just like Glenn), but the black hardware could look killer depending on the shade of green and fretboard material.

I'm with @Ted -- I like gold on certain finishes and accents (i.e. the Pine Green Valentine) but generally prefer chrome as a safer choice.

Chrome seems to be a safer choice. I personally love the look of all 3, but chrome is the only one the doesn't "wear" the same way.

I love the look of gold hardware, but only when it's gold . Which, as you say, often isn't long.
