If you want something bold, I'd say go for Graphite Pearl or Sapphire Black. But if you get one of them, be sure to get a darker pickguard, such as Moonstone or Abalone. I just saw a pic of Cabernet Pearl on a Bongo, and it was sick! That could also make an awesome choice.

Are you sure it wasn't Rolls?

The red one I showed was Trans red and not available any more. I bought that guitar and put the new pickguard on it. However, it had a finished neck and sounded so twangy that it just wasn't for me so I turned it loose again. The original pups were not what was in the guitar.

That new red with an abalone or some kind of swirl pickguard would be my choice. That bongo looks killer!

My thoughts exactly. Now it's only a matter of time before more of the new colors start showing up. Orange Firemist looks killer too! I think it would look better with a Rosewood fretboard though.
