Tell you what, I will take some pics of us shopping for some balls this weekend. I don't play, but I will be tempted to take a pic or two of me holding some balls. At least you will get to see the Mr and the Mrs...

Ok so I have returned from my EBMM shopping trip. I must say I was happy to get to play some balls finally. We also got to see Candy Red in person and wow was the word that came to mind. I played a Luke and an Axis. I must say that I liked them both. I got along with the V profile better than I would have though. I am actually torn because I liked them both. My wife liked the Luke more. She said it sounded neater/cleaner and she liked that. Of course there is no SS in FL for me to try.

So here is the real problem. I have come across a used ASS with piezo. So now we are faced with have an ASS with in a week or special order the Luke or SS. I am sure some will say both and trust me if I figure out a way to do that then that is what I will be doing.:D

I saw the Candy Red...I WANTED TO LICK IT!!! It looked so GOOD on the Mr.!!! Oh!! OH!!! It was an orgasmic experience!!

BP, I wanted to take a picture of the black stilettoes I was wearing with the Candy Red Ball and make the comment of "It's not Christmas...but it will do". But then I thought that would be mean...

I learned alot this weekend while listening to the Mr. pick and play with some balls. I loved the ASS with the piezo, but truthfully, I loved he way the Luke sounded...what sucks big elephant nuts is there isn't a shop out here that has any Silhouettes (which is what I really wanted to get him in the first place). Unfortunately, in a perfect world, I would be able to afford to buy the Luke w/ the piezo AND a Sihlouette...but alas, I can only work on one for right now...:(

DECISIONS...DECISIONS...:confused:

The Candy Red was just delicious!!! Oooo!!! :D I like it!!! I LIKE IT ALOT!!! :p

Oh well, you know Mrs. Vail - the LUKE too is one sexy hellofa guitar.
It was created on the basis Silhouette Special, which says it all ...:D
Only thing is that there is not really an option to add a sexy pickguard, but ... oh well...

I guess the Mr. will surely like the Luke, too, if there's absolutely no Silo Special around. But have an eye on the colour, though - YOU know what suits him best apart from yourself ;) :cool:

...and life's just too damn short to play black guitars just like everybody else... :rolleyes:
