So I've just ordered my SKB Bass Safe for next month's NYC trip, and wanted to know (once, and for all) the rule-of-thumb on detuning/not detuning your bass for cargo travel.
It gets mighty cold in the cargo area. On my last trip to Detroit (May), my bass came off the conveyor belt near-freezing. That's got to wreak havok on the neck!
Any thoughts/input?
