Just thought I'd chime in with my twopenneth on this one.

I came to Musicman guitars via my Axis, and then my Axis Sport.
And then it got to the point that I was looking for a decent S***t type guitar and I was already addicted to the Musicman neck so I initially went looking for a Silo, and I came across the Albert purely by chance in a shop.
Played it, realised that in all my years of playing/buying F*&^er type guitars I'd only played 2 others as good as this one.
And given that the Albert was 1/3 of the price of the Tyler Studio Elite, and 1/10th the price of the 1961 St**t that occupied the other 2 slots in that top 3 the purchase was a no brainer.

These things truly are F£**er killers.

Ya, what DrBob said... Great guitars. Mine doesn't get played enough because I keep the Axes closer to the chair in the music room, but I'll never giver 'er up.

Dude -

Today is Saturday. Tomorrow is Sunday. Monday is the day that all the crap from the weekend is dealt with. Tuesday - that's when I would expect a response.

Oh yeah - I always have very very good luck with CS by CALLING them - toll free too - at 800-543-2255. Give them a ring Monday morning - remember they are in California. Ask for CS and they will give you the answer over the phone. Then - be kind enough to pass on the info here so we don't keep calling them with the same question. Thanks!
wrote 'em an email last monday, still no reply. will try again;)

Hey Fogman...since you are the official picture master of the forum: How many pics have you got with non-EBMM guys playing EBMMs? That is cool to see Perry with one...and I heard that McCartney had an AL that he loved.

The "Perry" one was up on e bay a couple of weeks ago and caused a bit of a stir.
I was mooted that the AL was on loan to Joe and someone contacted his rep. The AL was removed from E bay.

After a couple of days it was re instated onto e bay. I dont think EB wanted to get into a mud slinging fight - I don't know how much it went for. Did anybody on the forum watch the item ?

Hey you can buy mine (not!!!) - I have photos of Albert holding it and he signed it for me too.

As Spud has said, it was up for sale. Kind of a tiny contravercy around here! :p
There's a thread somewhere if you do a search.

I've tried to find pics of Paul McCartney with the EBMM but have yet to come across any.

That's going to be one tasty AL, my friend.

I put my AL through the paces last night, a solid three plus hour workout:D

The covers are only black. I am writing up the namm order and I am thinking of doing a white AL with white pearloid pg, non-match. Just can't deciede if it should be SSS or MM90's...

C'mon, the MM90's are legendary pickups. Put those babies in there and treat some of the NAMM folks to a serious looking & sounding AL :D

(of course I'm totally biased):D
