Thanks Jimi D...

Okay, I'm editing this with a cooler head...

Butch did something stupid, apologized, has paid the price in spades, and continues to be persecuted and vilified all over the 'net far in excess of his "crimes" (imho)... I wish people would just drop it and leave it alone. I think Butch is a stand-up guy - he pulled a boner and took his lumps, but he came clean with more class than I've seen from most of his detractors. Besides his foolish flirtation with plagerism, he's contributed some good stuff to a number of boards, including this one, and if he chooses to come back here, I'd welcome him.

So please, lets not bad mouth other people here.

I apologize for losing my temper...

As for Butch and what he has to say about Albert Lee guitars, here's a post he put up on the TDPRI in May of last year :

'Nuff said...

Yes, it has been a very long and dificult road to recovery with this issue. I did a very dumb thing back then. I have been forgiven by Jeff Miller and he and I have a decnt relationship now. I even helped him get into one of the local bands here in Cincy. I appreciate all who have forgiven me and I promise nothing like that will ever happen again. As far as not liking the AL model, yes, I did say that on more than one occasion; however, those statements were made before I got one. After I had gotten one, all my prior thoughts about it were out.... In fact, I'm looking for another one.

anybody find a pinkburst AL for me yet????:)

Not yet.
(From your competitor.)

Get in line beyotches :p

OK Boys,

I know where there is a PINKBURST AL....
hardtail, natural HS, DOB 11/13/96, non-locking tuners, no silent circuit
neck is not highly figured and both the neck and fretboard could use some wonder wipage and and good oil/wax job. Frets and overall playability to me is OK (I'm no pro player). I've seen it a few times but at this point chose not to buy it.

It's on the wall asking $1,000 wOHSC but it is a consignment sale so may be flexible.
