It seem with about every guitar I have ever owned that after about 6-8 months I get too accustomed to it and end up selling it for something new... I'm getting the same thing now with the Dargie

I think you have the right frame of mind and should sell the Dargie. Green is a horrible color, your friends won't like you, and your dog is scared of it. Now me being a sympathetic soul, will be happy to take it off of your hands. No really, I'll do that for you.

Please do not sell the Dargie. You WILL regret it, and can never get it back. It's my favorite of the Dargie models and wish I had one. I let a few EB/MM slip away in the past due to various reasons and have lived to regret it. I just ended up buying them all over again, but I got the new pickups, updates, etc. and my favorite colors. Never again.

I think it's great when you get a guitar and you think "That's it - that's the one I've been looking for!!". - That has happened to me with the BCB AL.
I have had a problem bonding with the LEAL - there are things that I love about it, but other aspects I am not 100% with. Would I get rid of it ? - Noway because I know that there is little out there to beat it - I would end up regretting getting rid of it.
Maybe you are one of those who likes the "chase" - getting worked up about it during the waiting period, getting excited the day it arrives, bonding with it , licking it !!!... ... ok I'll stop there. But just take stock of the position and get content with what ya got - a load of people would love to have that DD.

BP thinks you should keep it - listen to a voice of experience - he'll gain more if you buy another new one.
In 20 - 30 years time that DD will be a very collectible item - if not so already.
