You know, over the past few years there was only one other non-EBMM guitar i considered buying, and it was the Ibanez Timmons sig, i was thinking maybe next year i would take the plunge and see if its as classy as it seems, oh well, i get to save my money now and get another new ball.

Resolution is one superb cd, as are all of Timmons' cd's.

Arg! not Fender?!

Fender is CRAP. Sorry, they do make some nice custom shop guitars for sure, but most of the stuff is in serious need of Quality Control+craftmanship. To many cookie cutter guitars.

yeah EBMM should grab on to players like Andy.

Well as BP has said theres been no contact with Andy.... but I can only imagine that a signature model for Andy would be very cool.... I hope he dosen't go with Fender... EBMM would in my opinion be a far better match... who knows what the future may bring..:)

What i would do is find out where he hangs and casually bump into him and talk about..........what else? guitars!

That is, if i were a EBMM rep.

I am pretty surprise that Ibanez drop the production of AT300.. I thought the AT300 supossed to be a strat killer.. I think the new Herman Li signature going to be their new strat killer :D..

I think Andy will be great for the Musicman Artist line up.. Silhouette guitar will fits him perfectly.. Luke is here [Andy said that Luke inspired him to be a session player.. Same like JP and Morse :)).. Musicman is a family oriented company, and I think Timmons personality will represent the company nicely..

and last but not least..

Fender sucks!! :D:D

for the most part the reaction to the IDEA.... has been very positive, but we must remember there has been NO CONTACT with EBMM on this, we must not get carried away here.... BP has put the rumour to rest... it's a really great idea but thats all it is.. Andy is a wonderful player and I think would be great for EBMM.. but we shouldn't speculate any further.

This is all speculation and wishful thinking...but if he's been an ibanez player all these years, maybe he'd be more accustomed to the neck shape of a JP....Has anyone ever played an AT model? just curious if the neck shape was the usual ibanez thin profile?
Gosh, if EBMM could get Andy Timmons AND Greg Howe....(enter blurry camera tricks and harp arpeggios as we go into dream land)

Andy is an awesome player and a really nice guy too. I usually try to get up to the Dallas Guitar Show every year to see him play.
A few years ago Joe Satriani was one of the acts at the Guitar Show and he and Andy got up and jammed together - it was really jaw-dropping watching those two trade guitar licks.

Hi Jeff

I am currently using an AT300 and compare to Silhouette, the neck profile is about the same... I think about 95% of silo neck is similar to AT300.. As a matter of facts, I am going buying a Silhouette special because the neck is about the same..

When I get it, I'll change it to Dimarzio Cruiser neck and middle, and order Dimarzio AT custom from Dimarzio.. Just like what AT has.. lol..

If any of board member here also a board member of ATB, you'll get my vote for the petition Andy using a musicman..

Cheers..

Andy is a CLASS A guy. I took a few lessons from him quite awhile ago and he taught me so much about discovering my own strong points. Simply one of the nicest people I've ever met. He would never say a bad thing about anyone.
