Another EPIC transformation on another pink ebmm...

Man this is too cool Bryan! I'm loving the mashup of colors!

Thanks, Ben.

I feel sick about the switch locations. They are an inch and a half too forward and I hit the pink one by accident with my picking hand. They were supposed to start in the tone cavity, not the middle of the guitar. The store opens tomorrow at noon so I will address this promptly. I have no problem paying for another pickguard because his work is excellent and I mustn't have explained myself clearly. I've just learned that verbal descriptions will not do and in the future sketches are in order.

hmmmm, I don't see this inspiring a Tollywood model ebmm, but perhaps an Albert Lee with no pickguard and rear loaded electronics?

Wow ... !

I like it. Not only for a better view of the top, I like seeing the complexity of the wiring underneath. Nice work dude, and you totally made it your own.

Thanks, the clear pickguard and the double five-ways were the secrets I withheld since I thought they were pretty wild.
Note the clear tremolo cavity cover, too

Nayrb, I love it and would love to be playing that thing! Well done buddy!

Nivek.

Why thank you, Nivek, my good man.

Well, Pinkbert is back at the shop and Jim wouldn't hear of taking any money to make a new pickguard. He can fix it to be like the picture above. He'll move the volume knob, too.

Since he wouldn't even take money for the new material, I felt bad and brought in a job for him that I've been putting off for too long: an Axis with a floating Floyd Rose. Yeah, you read that right. Stay tuned.

Wow Bryan what a total recreation sweet. You are a crazy dude (and I mean that in a good way:) ) Nice job and congrats on making pinky your own ceation.

Sorry I have not responded sooner but i have been without internet access for 15 days, thay finally repaired it this morning.

Have a Merry Christmas my friend.

That will be a new thread that will be linked and reposted a gazilion times in the next ten years...

"Hey why does my Axis Mega Sport not float? That sucks! Anybody grab a kitchen knife and hammer and go at it?"

"Umm some crazy dude here did it once a cupla years back. What was his name again? Bortnic? Brewster? Anyways, use the forum search engine"

Use the what? No idea what that is and I'm just lazy. Can you search for it and then post it instead?

Sigh. Never mind here it is Bryan's Axis with a floaty thingy pics inside.

:D

And, a Merry Christmas to you and your family, Keith. Thank you very, very much for selling me Pinkbert. I've wanted one of these bad boys for a while. I do get a little crazy because I don't play any other brands of guitars and I want custom features, but there's no ebmm custom shop. This is in no way a dig at ebmm, and I hope no one at the company takes offense that I like to mod their products. Believe me, I tried to mod my wife (with sboob, Nivek) and she was insulted, but after much backpedaling I think she's forgotten about it.

B, If I could staaaat the caaaa after leaving the baaaa I'd come see it in person buddy!
