Basically, I a friend thinks she found it at a pawn shop. He said he wouldn't give any details over the phone and that he had to fill out the ticket and give it to the PD. I guess in Texas all tickets go to the PD. So, the guy investigating said that when that guy fills out the ticket, he'll know.

The thing I'm fearful of is that the pawn guy might have tipped the guy who brought it in... I dunno. I guess I'm just paranoid. I haven't called them because I don't want to put any more attention on the guitar until the ticket is turned in... or until I drive over there this weekend.

As of right now... no more news, but the officer said it could take till the end of the week. Why he doesn't go look... I dunno.

I'm extremely sorry to hear about that. I remember you posting about the new JP7 after having the previous one stolen. But anyway, the best of luck to you getting your stuff back, and I hope the people who stole them are found and arrested.

I f-ing hate people. Anyone who is low enough to steal anything should die, and I seriously mean that. You can't trust anybody these days.

wow, that's terrible. I hope you get it back. It's such a horrible feeling to have something taken. Makes you feel so violated. Good luck my friend. I'll keep my eyes on ebay as well.

I got a guitar back almost 2 years after it was stolen.
As much as I hate:
Crack Whores
Scummy pawn shop dealers
Stupid Drummers
and
The system that keeps local law enforcement from doing the right thing

I have to be thankful for all of them. If it wern't for them I never would have gotten the guitar back.

I am also thankful for:
Honest people on eBay
Detectives that really try to do the right thing
and
This Forum
because they all helped me get the guitar back

I hope yours is about to show up.
