I bought a fretless neck on the classifieds here a few months back, and instead of swapping it continuously with the neck my main Stingray, decided to pick a up a SUB on eBay and mount it to that body. I couldn't really be happier with the results. I had a '79 fretless Ray years ago, and it was really cool, but I prefer my EB fretless Subray.

It was done by Marty Bell and it's called Silver Sparkle. Also, an Aguilar preamp was installed (previous owner) but I can't imagine it's better than the original pre (which I have too). Here's a better pic

SUB's are great basses.......damn shame,they are no longer made........will always keep the one that's in the house,and am searching,all the time.........have a buddy I've been tryin' to score his SUB from but,it ain't happening.....he likes it too much.
Hey Fly.There is an interesting SUB5 active on RIPOFFTHESELLERSBAY right now, It appears to have been produced without a pick guard.It ends tomorrow Its went up to 405.00 yesterday no bids since.Its grey with black tribal and a couple decals on it....Sorry if I shouldn't post this here.I thought it to be Appropriate but.I am wrong often or so my wife tells me.
