Wow...is that an actual guitar or a photoshop ? That combination is just stunning
That combination is just stunning
if they did a reproduction of that one i would jump on it without thinking about it! it is the most stunning JP to date! i even like the arm cut away! everything about it is perfect.![]()
All this speculation is great fun. I think, though, we gotta remember that the guitar is going to be what JP wants. No begging or pleading from us for what we want is going to influence the final design.

Absolutely. I don't for one second imagine that this would be the 10th anniversary JP but it would be great if it was offered as a limited edition, limited run kind of thing at some point.
Could be nice and simple?
No options - All exactly the same as the Score guitar - Limited period order window - When they're gone, they're gone.![]()
Did JP use the 20th pickups in this guitar on Score or was there a D-sonic somehow hidden uderneath those cover? if thats even possible?
If I remember correctly it was all 20th Silo electronics etc put into a very lovely JP body.
I'm still holding out for a limited run reproduction of this guitar. It is without question (to me anyway), the most desirable Music Man ever.
- BFR body with regular scooped arm rest
- roasted maple super birdseye neck
- ebony board
- Tobacco Burst
- Special 10th Anniversary case
Ok, this isn't a guess, it's a wish.![]()
The proto used on Score didn't have the D-Sonic. Its not possible to put a metal cover over a pickup with a rail or bar. That guitar had the Virtual PAF's in it. The proto used for SC is what became the BFR minus the binding and pickup rings.

EDIT: Found it...
Indeed it was the anniversary pickups...
