I just wanted to say how incredible it is to have EBMM want to help these people out. I was in the heart of an EF5 tornado in my hallway two years ago clutching my dog when it simply demolished everything in sight and it's a hell of a thing to have to go through. Losing everything is not something that is easy to comprehend. It takes your family, community, and the help of some good people to recuperate in a time like that. Kudos EBMM. You're a great bunch of guys and you're making a real difference in someone's life buy helping.

The winning bid was the same as the one for $2551, and Smelly said that he had bid up to $2551
- being an E bay novice, am I reading the "13 bids" incorrectly?
I thought that it would have gone for a lot more too? - but a total EB donation of $5102 is a hell of a nice gesture.

I honestly think this could have gone for a lot more money, if the ad was a little bit better. More pics, better description, and yes, a clear statement that international shipping is OK. I also found it strange that when i searched for "music man armada", the ad didnt come up. I only got to it by the link on the first page of this thread. But on the bright side: Cheers to EB for doing this. Class act.

Sorry spud bad grammar on my part - I bid EVERYTHING - and pushed it up to 2551 which was the bid placed by someone before me - I had to drop out at that point. This is a STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL guitar, I would dearly have loved to have owned it, but I'm glad it went to someone who's town will get the benefit of the money, at the end of the day (as Amazing as they are) these are just painted wood, all be it the best on the planet, but what BP was doing is where it's at, I've done a little bit of volunteer work recently, and I see the real benefits it makes to people.
Make sure you all hug someone you love today, you never know what the future holds. ...... There will be other Armadas... one day.....
