ASS v EVH

Well Ijust had 2 weeks back in the UK and had time with my purple EVH and, to tell you the truth...... my ASS plays so much better. It has the mojo where as the EVH just felt like wood in my hands!!!!

I am heading back to the UK in another 10 weeks and may be getting a change for the EVH.

Anyone fancy a trade? PM me if you have any suggestions.

If the EVH isn't talking to you then sell it. Take the money and buy something you like. Wish I had the $$ to buy it.

But no question, the ASS is a more tonally versatile guitar if you can live without the Floyd.

I've gotta agree too... I had an EVH and my current ASS's have it all over that guitar. I hated to sell it since it was a birthday gift from my wife, but I really didn't bond with it at all... I can't keep a guitar just to hang on the wall, it has to move me enough to pick it up and want to play it. Good luck with your decision...

I agree that the ASS is more versatile, but I just think the EVH sounds better, at least for rock. More bite. Subtle, but there.

You'll have to pry my EVH out of my cold dead fingers. And it will still cost you at least $2k.
