I believe they have some kind of endorsement deal cause they play them all the time on the EBMM Commercial Free Radio Station...that's where I first heard them...and I really dig their sound :D

Yes the Band is working directly with EB. They have been playing Ernie Ball products
for years and started working with us summer 2003. Johnny Christ has bought a few Sterlings from us in addition to buying them at a dealer prior to the relationship.

A great band. Check out their new Disc "City Of Evil" just released this month.

also Jon mentioned something about the bassist sending the same bass in twice in 1 month cuz the strap buttons fell out ...

this means he probably plays like a maniac. great band! everyone should check out their stuff like Derek sugggested.

I also think the dude from Atreyu is a Sterling player ... again, dope band

In deed, I'm listening to them (Atreyu) right now. I thought he played a SR. ehh i could be wrong. Either way its EB and thats all that matters.

Its funny you'd say he plays like a mad man because he really doesn't move around alot. Like nothing physical but he does play fast as hell.

Okay, admittedly I only listened to the one available song on the link, and I do like the music, but I just don't get the whole "screaming til your throat bleeds" vocal style. Clearly, many people like it, but for me, it gets in the way of the music.

He isn't screaming his voice is just raspy or so it sounds... some part it sounds like he is scream but mostly just singing... Anyhow that band is kickass

I second that.

The guys in the band let me preview their new record, "Ruiner", which comes out in August, and it's amazing. Be sure to check it out.

i just listened to the sample off Ruiner on nitro's site and its awesome ...

im a big fan of the punk meets metal kinda bands. i throw Strung Out into that camp too ... the guitarists in String Out are pretty bad ass

I heard A Wilhelm Scream and at the Indy Warped Tour and thought they were really good. For some of you old farts like me you really have to accept that the singing is a little over the top with punk but I actually really like some of these bands A Wilhelm Scream has really cool two part guitar solos and they guys can actually play. Maybe guitar solos will make a little comeback

Man, I hope so!

with bands like Atreyu, A Wilhelm Scream, Thrice, Death by Stereo and Strung Out the punk rock kids are definately getting a taste of "the solo". ive seen the solo gain a lot of popularity over the last few years ... i was hoping Velvet Revolver coming up would have sped up the rebirth of the solo too.

Also metal in general is way more popular and some of those dudes really throw down.

they say that things come in phases so eventually its gonna be the solo's turn to shine.

i first saw these guys by accident ... i was drunk at a Bottom of the Hill in SF. they have this cool little backyard area. most people hang out there during opening bands and drink and smoke etc. so we're waiting for The Lawrence Arms to go on and shmoozing with SF punk royalty (NOFX, the Utters, some Alkaline guys - it was Fat Mikes bday that night) ... so i hear that a band is starting and in between puffs on my cigarette i looked at my buddy Ryan and said "holy sh*t ... thats some guitar playing". So we run in quick and just absolutely got blown away by A Wilhelm Scream. Totally not the kind of band youd expect to open to the Lawrence Arms ...

talked to the dudes a bit after they played ... like Derek said, great music, great dudes.
