Want to install a d-tuna, but the back of trem is tilted down so there's no way the d-tuna is going to clear the body. How do I level out the trem? Any help would be appreciated.

you can block the trem inside the cavity with a wood block, so it'll be locked into the flat position.

pm me or send me an email at :

I can go over some things to help out. Where are located?

Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply. I did a little research and found that the spring tension was off. That did the trick.

I always found the D-Tuna to be a POS.
I have 3 of them but they never seemed to ever work properly no matter what I done...

The D-Tuna will work properly, if properly set up. The mechanism itself is very simple. There is just nothing on it that would cause it to change how it acts.

The biggest problem I've seen is improper installation, or an improper set-up on the guitar to make it work. It requires a very specific set-up on your trem to work properly every time. Any slop in the trem will cause it to not work properly.

Well I went through alot with this guitar in the last couple of days. I was actually going to return it at one point. I just didn't like the bridge pickup at all. I'm use to a lp custom and the ax40 sounded thin and bright in comparion.

Anyway NOBOZOS kindly held my hand through the d-tuna thing and I got that straight. Then I decided to swap the pickup out with an sd invader. I figured I I could still put everything back and return it, but it sounds waaaaaaaay better now. I still love my custom, but the ax40 is alot lighter and has a floyd, which is what I was looking for. My jvm stack was screaming way into the night(I live in the boondocks).

Anyway big thanks to NOBOZOS for all the help and handholding. I'm loving the guitar now.
