Axis PDN Love

I recorded this clip with my phone. It's just a quick jam with some sloppy lick playing. I'm really just a strummer. I kind of despise solo playing and really prefer compositions where the rhythm and lead are played by one guitar. The quality isn't that great, but I wanted everyone to see how awesome this guitar is. The pickups absolutely scream, but at the same time the mahogany provides warmth when strumming. I can't believe musicman has never done the mahogany body AXIS before this guitar. I can feel the vibrations through my legs as I play! The JUMBO stainless frets are a treat as well. I used my kemper with a JVM profile. Absolutely, amazing combinations of woods. It was a great limited run offer by musicman! TWO THUMBS UP!

I realize the phone probably isn't doing a very good job showing off the guitar. I'll try to upload a simple high quality recorded clip. I just can't say enough how blown away I am with the guitar. I know the axis is supposed to be bright, but I feel like the mahogany added just a touch of needed warmth. Still like the standard axis, but I think this is becoming my main instrument.

The kemper is absolutely amazing. Not sure if you own one, but it is a must to check it out. I haven't looked back at tube amps since getting it. I dislike associating the two, but it sounds amazing with a 5153 profile.
