Hey chaps. HELP needed. As some of you know the bridge pickup in my Axis SS got fried by some poor tech. I have replaced with a Dean Vinnie Moore Shredhead....however i am in a MODDING MOOD and am looking for a high output (ish) pup slam into my ASS.

I know that the Tone Zone will fit the super sport (with no routing) but are there any others that i can try? Not wanting to do any routing so the pup will need to be "Tone Zone size"

Thanks in advance,

J:confused:

Jonny, try the AT-1 and de-air it. Comes really close to the original Axis pickup! AT-1 stock is really good, but maybe too soft, yet harmonically rich. De-aired lets you have more aggressiveness but also keps the rich harmonics.

I tried the stock AT-1 and thought it was a good pickup but a lot weaker than the axis bridge, ive not tried a de-aired version but I think the tone zone is a way closer match, even Dimarzio thought so before they changed it, my honest opinion, go tone zone.
