I bought off ebay a pair of Axis pickups, and I wanted to check that they were the real deal. They certainly look it! The bridge one says B1 and F as well as the Dimarzio pickups USA, and the neck one says N2 and Dimarzio Pickups USA and a US Pat no 5,399,802.

Are these the real deal?

If they are, the neck one might be up for sale pretty soon!
