you can probably do an ink transfer some how... just ask the folks over at CSI...

I'd suggest to have it over-sprayed in that area, play it for years and the sig. will be perfect

Having said that
Maybe I'll keep it, Al is my pal. Don't get me wrong, he's not over for Italian on a weekly basis , but we do know each-other and it feels good to be remembered by him at Namm, yearly..This is a sweet guy and yeah lets call it officailly NFS.

Me too.....much as I admire Albert Lee I wouldn't let him (or anyone else) near my guitar with a pen.....never quite understood that particular fashion.
Does it increase or decrease the resale value??

A few weeks ago on another forum, some guy had Billy Gibbons sign his Historic R(something) Les Paul. Well, Billy not only signed it in paint pen on the front, but he also decided to add some 'pin-striping' all over the guitar. It looked awful. The guy figured out someway to remove all of it without messing up the finish. Thankfully. Personally, I think signatures on the front of guitars looks tacky. I'd lose it on this one if I bought it.

You have a point there , however at a certain point , when you have a crap load of guitars , signed ones start to mean something...re-sale isn't the only motivation.

I would just want to keep the signature with an ink transfer or something, since at this point in my life I can't buy a guitar just to look at. The signature is cool though, and I would want to keep it somehow.
