B E A D on Bongo 4 compensated nut question

Sorry, I know this question has probably been asked before, but I couldn't find anything when I searched for it.

But are there any issues with intonation and the compensated nut when tuning a Bongo 4 to BEAD? I'd be using standard gauge strings for the lower 4 strings of a 5 string. 130-65.

This is a big commitment since I'll need to widen the nut slots. My main concern is proper intonation on the B string. I'm not quite sure how the compensated nut thingy works, and if it only works relative to each string, or if it's designed for a particular gauge string and tuning. Which if the latter is true, my fear is poor intonation.

Also, please don't reply with 'buy a five string'.

Im pretty sure theres no problems there. The compensated nut just makes intonation better across the entire neck. But if you are not an intonation freak that needs every not to be dead on, youll be fine with anny tuning. Most of the intonation work still comes from adjusting the bridge.

4 banger bongo head here. I tune to that and have zero issues. I did have it intonated and I adjust the truss rod as needed.
