The dude at the guitar store i goi to just bought a quantum modulus for 1750 AUD...i seriously wish i had bought it!

I'd like to see the results of a blind test between the stock bridge and the BA bridge. I'm guessing ain't one of us could do better than guesswork.
In any case, what everyone else said. Leave the MM bridge alone. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, and it does it very well, indeed.

I'm actually waiting for my Bongo to arrive, which I bought from our friendly and patient MM dealer, Doug, but I've got to pratice for an up-coming "gig" sort of thing and this bass is the only one I can get.
Again, it's not bad enough to be flamed to a crisp. Then again, I've had only limited experience with the mid to high-end basses.
