Wow! I love the gold swirl guard on that. Olive gold is one of my favorite of the 2009 colors that was discontinued.

Hey john, i have the exact same silo, but a hard tail...love that olive gold...check out my eb site for the picture...congrats on a great guitar!

I just went out and looked at your's - unless someone else has an S/S/S, rosewood board Silo Special in olive gold/gold swirl we have a pretty exclusive club. Let's call it the SSOGGSRSSSOC (Silo Special Olive Gold Gold Swirl Rosewood SSS Owners Club)

I didn't mention it but the rosewood that EBMM is using these days is really nicely grained; the Silo Special actually appears to have a darker board than my Rosewood Axis SuperSport (which has the all rosewood neck). I know that Keith pretty much kept it in the case; after bouncing between Texas, Mississippi and Kentucky over what has turned into a pretty cold, snowy winter it may be time to give the Axis SS the WonderWipes treatment.

your right john, the rosewood is very dark on my silo too...looks like a very good grade of wood.
