<div class="bbWrapper">Like I said...Maybe that&#039;s all he wanted in a guitar.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I don&#039;t understand the point of this thread, considering it was apparently an issue for some of us a year ago when they announced the axe. Would you not buy a Silo or Silo special because Benji played one? I doubt it. It&#039;s not like a pox on the instrument, he just dig&#039;s em and proved that they hold up on the rigors of the road. He&#039;s a kid like the rest of us who dig EBMM&#039;s, he&#039;s used them for quite sometime and while I might not dig his band, but you&#039;ve gotta give props to a guy who has impeccable taste in instruments, regardless if his general audience isn&#039;t made up of virtuosos.... <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f615.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt="" title="Confused " data-smilie="5"data-shortname="" /></div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Sorry guys I&#039;ve given the wrong message. I&#039;m probably writing too much and then confused both myself and everyone.<br /> <br /> You get the chance to have your very own Musicman<br /> You have the chance to build ONE guitar that will have your signiture on it.<br /> The guitar manufacturer is Ernie Ball Musicman.<br /> You can spec it in whatever way you want.<br /> Therefore, spec it so it can play everything.<br /> <br /> I&#039;m just bringing up the fact that if I had a choice of guitar that I can spec for everything, I will build one that is versitile to the extreme.<br /> <br /> In no way were my posts supposed to dig at BM, Good Charlotte or Musicman. Just questionning the reason behind the specs that BM chose. I could play Good Charlotte stuff on my Silouette (even though it&#039;s not my kinda thing) and then flick the pickup for whatever. Hopefully I&#039;ve kind of cleared up the mess I made.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">If its made by EBMM then its QUALITY.........No doubt about it! I wouldn`t mind having a BM guitar at all!!!! I could care less about BM,but the guitar is very good IMO!!!!!! Hey.....its a MusicMan,nuff said!!!!</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Does anyone hear the dead horse winnying? No? Put a fork in it, this one is done. <br /> <br /> Benji has a signature guitar. Great.<br /> It is a EBMM....Really Great.<br /> <br /> Enough said. I think as a company decision, it was a good one. Personally, I don&#039;t care. I don&#039;t own stock in EBMM (well, sort of, I do own their guitars) but I do not have the right to question their decisions.<br /> <br /> BM, he got what he wanted. If he decides to change, I am sure EBMM will oblige him. <br /> <br /> <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f60e.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt="" title="Cool " data-smilie="6"data-shortname="" /></div>

<div class="bbWrapper"><blockquote data-attributes="" data-quote="jimmyp" data-source="" class="bbCodeBlock bbCodeBlock--expandable bbCodeBlock--quote js-expandWatch"> <div class="bbCodeBlock-title"> jimmyp said: </div> <div class="bbCodeBlock-content"> <div class="bbCodeBlock-expandContent js-expandContent "> Far be it from me to compare EVH and Benji Madden, but no-one seemed to mind when EVH was using a single pickup guitar - he made some half decent music with one pickup (going for the understatement there). Although not one of my fave players, a signature guitar is just that - exactly what the artist needs- so the BM sig is justified </div> <div class="bbCodeBlock-expandLink js-expandLink"><a role="button" tabindex="0">Click to expand...</a></div> </div> </blockquote><br /> Thats true, but l ain&#039;t buying it, l like a bit of versitility in my guitars, l hate swapping guitars at gigs, l like to stick to one guitar. If it works for them thats cool, but when Eddie released those Charvels, and the price of those damn things, no way man.<br /> <br /> Scott.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">What I have been saying is this...Benji had a chance to have a signature guitar. He was already playing Silos before he was signed. For what he does, all he wanted and needed was a single humbucker in the bridge position...What is so wrong with that. For what he plays, it&#039;s perfect. If I ever got a signature guitar, I might have only the neck p/up. For what I do it&#039;s all I need. I never use the bridge p/up, so why have it there? Benji didn&#039;t ask for this guitar to make you happy. I am sorry it doesn&#039;t fit everybodys ideal of what a guitar should be, but that&#039;s why we make others.<br /> <br /> This thread is getting really old, and I bleeb I&#039;m gonna close it.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Please do. <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f60e.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt="" title="Cool " data-smilie="6"data-shortname="" /></div>

<div class="bbWrapper">That was kinda my point as well, it doesn&#039;t do nothing for me, either does EVH&#039;s one pickup guitar, but it&#039;s all cool, but l thought you were gonna close this one up, go ahead and do it, this topic is getting old, and l don&#039;t think anyone cares anymore, l&#039;m just posting this message cause l have nothing to do at work, and l&#039;m bored.<br /> <br /> Cheers,<br /> <br /> Scott.</div>
