I only had JP sign one of my backplates even though I've met him a number of times. After that, I just had him sign a CD or something. Actually, I did have him sign the body of the guitar I built. But honestly, I did that because I didn't really mind handwriting on the finish. If I ever want to re-finish, I'll just sand it off.
