dont yell at me, but the guy from MxPx, mike herera, uses stingrays all the time. and the guy from blink182, mark hoppus uses on every now and then.

their lines are too simple
they just follow the guitar

i didnt say nothing about what notes they were playing. i just said that they were using those basses. and i know that they just follow the guitar, but sometimes thats the best thing to do.

ok i listened to the song and i'd have to say that the bass line is better than i expected it to be, but it just repeats itself allover again. its cool though but definitely not one of the best stingray lines..
check out angry, young and poor by anti-flag.
thats what i would call a good stingray line.

Bernard Edwards

Dudes-

Pretty much the most famous bass line of all time "Good Times" was put down using a natural finish SR4 by none other than Bernard Edwards-- may he rest in peace.

you should check out their new cd before everything and after. first off track 3 ought to be a reall treat for t.v. viewers .and second the bass lines are more complex than normal. and i agree tom follows mike more than mike follows tom.
